Overview
The
section of MIG (microbiology, immunology and glycobiology) was formed
in May 1998 and is one of nine sections forming the Institute
of Laboratory Medicine (ILM). The section conducts research within
the areas of microbiology, immunology and glycobiology. Aside from the
vast research activities, we also play a major role in the education of
medical students.
The
MIG section has a close collaboration with the Clinical
Microbiological Laboratory which is part of the Lund University Hospital.
